On 13th July, a dumpling making party was organized at Kinglumi, creating a good opportunity for employees to learn or improve dumpling making skills and in the meantime stay relaxed and happy during work. The activity was held successfully by contributing to a positive and cheerful work environment with an active participation from employees.
Chinese dumpling or say Jiaozi is a traditional food in China, particularly popular in northern China as one of staple foods. During Spring Festival, most of Chinese people in north make and eat dumplings as a tradition and believe it can bring good luck financially in the new year. In terms of dumpling making, it comes with different fillings and shapes based on different likes. Some common fillings include pork, vegetables, cabbage or seafood and so on. After preparing your favorite fillings, you can place them into a rolled piece of dough or called wrapper with different shapes as you like. As with dumpling cooking, there are many ways available ranging from steaming, boiling to pan-frying.
