DIM-TO-WARM TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Bright, crisp and clear lighting is usually desired but not all the time, particularly at a certain locations where different light levels are required accordingly based on different color temperatures. It's known that normal LED light fixture keep their color temperatures unchanged when it’s dimmed, so some lighting designers usually go with incandescent and halogen lights that support smooth and natural dimming from white color to a warmer color. However, such move is also taken by compromising the energy use and operating costs.
Dim-to-Warm technology comes in a way to resolve such issue and is able to change the color temperature when led light fixtures are dimmed. With regular Triac/ELV dimmer or DALI system(with Kinglumi DALI driver), such new technology enables LED lights to mimic the effect of incandescent and halogen light sources with smooth and natural dimming from cold and white color to a warmer color.
ADDING CCT CONTROL OPTION IN DIMMED LED LIGHTING
Kinglumi Dim-to-Warm LED luminaires are designed to provide clear, bright and uniform light at full power intensity while creating a warmer, softer and visually pleasing lighting environment after lights shit down to a warmer temperature. The combination of LED lighting energy efficiency and the natural warming effect of dimmed incandescent and halogen lights provides flexibility to adjust the lighting color temperature and brightness for creating different space scenes with unique look and mood, and in the meantime reduce energy use and operating costs significantly.
PROVIDING FLEXIBILITY TO CREATE MULTIPLE SCENE SETTINGS
Offered from 3000K(2700K) to 2000K, Kinglumi GU10, Downlight and track lights with Dim-to-Warm technology produce 3000K(2700K) CCT at full power intensity and can dim down to 2000K CCT in dimmed conditions. Designed for hospitality, retail, residential, museum and entertainment applications, our Dim-to-warm LED products can be utilized to adjust the image and atmosphere of space settings, providing people with an impressive and pleasing experience. With a high CRI up to 96(R9=90), Kinglumi Dim-to-Warm LED luminaries deliver exceptional color quality with high efficacy, revealing the true and vivid colors of objects.
COMPATIBLE WITH DALI SYSTEM TO OPTIMIZE ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Kinglumi Dim-to-Warm LED lights can be programmed by DALI system to provide different light levels with changeable color temperatures according to surrounding environment. With a unique single drive circuit design connecting lighting intensity with CCT control, Kinglumi Dim-to-Warm LED luminaries are ideal fixtures to replace incandescent and halogen lights, being able to replicate their natural warmth and dimming curve but most importantly optimize energy efficiency with longer lifespan.
