Since the launch of our APOLLO modular LED panel lights, many customers are excited and hope to have a better understanding of installation tips regarding such innovative product. Today we are happy to show you some installation tips for our new generation detachable and modular APOLLO LED panel lights.
Firstly, the Apollo ceiling panel light is made up of frame ,light Engine, driver and other accessories. Each part involved is detachable with different sizes and specifications available, allowing for flexible expansion of desired custom lighting.
Tips for installing APOLLO led ceiling panel light

Light Engine：2 Light engine as one pair(connected in parallel), option beam spread: 85°x70°, 100°x80°, (under developing 85°x85°, Semi-direct lighting, Asymmetric wallwash)
Driver：DALI, 1-10V, Non-Dim Pro, Non Dim Std, Junction Box
Accessories：Pendant Kits, Surface Mounted Kits
Secondly, our Apollo LED Panel Light fixture is detachable with tool-free design. It's very easy and quick to put all parts onto panel manually. Now let me demonstrate how to put each part together.
A. Connecting light Engine with frame
Before putting them together, we need to check the terminals on this pair of light engines.
One of light engines has both a male and a female terminal while the other only has a male terminal. As these two light engines are designed to be connected in parallel, we need to ensure the female and male terminal in each engine should be fixed near each other.
Now let's start with installation. The first step is to put the wires through the cutout hole (476mmx39mm), then pushing light engine into the hole, which is same true for the other light engine. After two light engines are placed, we need to connect the terminals.
B. Connecting ight Engine with LED driver. For the driver, there is a female terminal onto it that needs to be connected with the remaining male terminal in the light engine.
D. Connecting frame with accessories
Standard design is based on recessed mounted LED panel into T Grid Bars, so some accessories need to be used for pendant and surface mounted way. In terms of pendant mounting, 4pcs ropes will be used to connect frame with drywall ceiling tightly.
Finally, we’re going to tell you how to remove the light engines from the frames.
In each engine, there are a total of 12 buckles, which are used to put the engine to frame together. For removing engine out, we need to remove buckles of each light engine manually.
